RECORD FIGURES IN THE TOURISM SECTOR

In the framework of the 179th anniversary of the Dominican Independence, celebrated this past February 27, President Luis Abilader, gave important information about the growth of the Tourism sector in the country, highlighting it as a record figure, since 2022, figures of around 8.5 million visitors, arriving by air and sea, with an approximate entry in foreign currency of 8.4 billion dollars, were registered.

Figures that generate confidence and stability in the economic and investment sector in the country, bringing with them new direct and indirect jobs, in addition to opening new destinations to tourism, with new and unique attractions, adding tourist attractions for the enjoyment of travelers in general and sportsmen, always with the comfort in facilities, environment, climate and hospitality for which the Dominican Republic retains the Caribbean preference.
